I would just like to say a very big thank you to you all for last night. It all felt like a dream come true that all that talent on stage was there to help Robert.
I cannot speak highly enough of The Stand staff who consistently dropped their tips in to our bucket and made us feel incredibly welcome. That also goes for the staff in Edinburgh who helped organise the tickets for us too. I’ll drop a little gift in to your Glasgow club this week.
To all the acts, thank you so much for giving up all your time on an important night of the year. We were overwhelmed by how good everyone was, and I’ve managed to refer to any upcoming shows you are performing in on our website ( http://rabsfund.com/14022011.html ). I’ll get a squad over for as many of you as I can.
I must highlight Kevin for getting all the prizes, all the people involved and for hosting the night so well. This would have been a non-starter if you weren’t so kind to group all your comics together.
Robert left last night proud and happy. Hopefully his new trial on Dexpramipexole shall be very soon. With the trip to Mexico falling through we’re still searching for alternative stem-cell treatment from places such as Israel to USA.
We raised £3,840 in ticket sales and the auction raised £1,125. The bucket also had over £80 in it.
